Golf course open, main greens in play, trolleys & buggies allowed. Our Restaurant's new opening hours are 8.30am - 5pm daily and a Free Tea offer is available with every order off the Chef's Specials all at £5.95.
Visitors who are members of an affiliated golf club are welcome to pay a green fee at the first floor bar or at the Secretary's Office.
On The Course
Shirts Golf shirts must have collars, with either long or short sleeves. Rugby/football shirts are prohibited, as are any shirts carrying slogans, numbers or illustrations on apparel that are not golf-related. Collarless shirts, such as t-shirts of any variety, are not allowed. Shirts must be tucked in at all times.
Long Trousers All types of denim, military-style or camouflage-style trousers, combat trousers (multiple pockets), cut-offs or tracksuits are strictly prohibited.
Shorts Only tailored shorts are permitted on the course. Military-style, camouflage or combat shorts (multiple pockets), are not permitted.
Shoes We only permit Golf Shoes on the course with either hard or soft spikes. Training shoes of any kind are not permitted.
Ladies Collarless shirts/tops must have sleeves and sleeveless shirts/tops must have collars and must have a modest neckline. Halter-neck tops are not permitted. Trousers, tailored Bermuda shorts, golf skirts/culottes are permitted.
Caps Caps must be worn peak front as designed and are not permitted to be worn in the Clubhouse by either ladies or gentlemen.
In the Club House, Practice Nets and Putting Green
We operate a relaxed dress code in and around the clubhouse and the following items are permitted:
Smart Denim Jeans, (19th only) no rips or tears or work jeans Training Shoes (19th Only) Sandals (without socks in 19th only) Tailored Shorts
Gentlemen may be required to wear a jacket and tie in the dining room after club matches or on other occasions, however the dress code for the lounge may be relaxed in consultation with the Captain or Secretary, this is especially relevant when private functions are taking place. In addition dress code may be changed appropriately when there is a themed social evening; specific dress code will be advised.
These rules apply to all golfers, as well as caddies and visitors accompanying golfers. Persons not properly dressed will be denied access to the Clubhouse.
All Members and Visitors are asked to make every effort to ensure that they dress appropriately and adhere to the above policy. It is hoped that a less prescriptive approach to dress and goodwill and common sense on all sides will mean that we will require a minimum level of enforcement except for the most obvious breaches.
All Golf Club staff are fully authorised to require any golfer, guest or visitor, whose dress does not comply with the dress code, to leave the course or club house.
Please avoid embarrassing situations, as members of staff are not permitted to allow any exceptions to this Rule. Golfers and visitors who are uncooperative or abusive to staff will be asked to leave the Golf Club.
Please note that we accept both credit and debit cards over the bar.
